(BS/Minor) - Did you know that insects make up 90% of the animal kingdom? Their diverse species can be found in nearly every ecosystem in the world—their existence paramount to food production that fuels every aspect of life. The more scientists understand about this species, the more information we have to monitor the planet’s health, resources and all its inhabitants. This growing need and challenge are precisely why many budding scientists pursue an education within insect biology.
