Additional Degrees & Concentrations

(BS) - A degree in applied and computational mathematics and statistics focuses on using mathematical and statistical knowledge to solve problems in different sectors. This may include biological & social sciences, technology, agbioscience and more.

(Minor) - Students pursuing a biometrics degree will research the technology and science of human characteristics—like irises, fingerprints, skin and face recognition— and apply it toward computer science tools and knowledge for security access and authentication.

(Cert) - A certification in biostatistics will allow students to develop and apply statistical knowledge toward the biological sciences—providing them the necessary skillset to design experiments, collect and analyze data and interpret and apply results.
