Founded in 2015 in Huntington, Indiana, and headquartered in Indianapolis, we remain committed to helping partners improve profitability and sustainability while building a legacy for generations to come.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>*This is a remote internship, however placement will be in Illinois and Indiana and candidates will need to be willing to live and\/or relocate to the desired location.<\/b><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"section page-centered\">\n<div>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities of the Role:<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"posting-requirements plain-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Provide agronomic observations on grower acres, in a variety of different areas and environments<\/li>\n<li>Assist in providing scouting reports for the grower customers at the direction of the Precision Agronomist and\/or Lead Agronomist<\/li>\n<li>Participate in soil sample collection efforts as needed<\/li>\n<li>Assist in implementation of various research efforts across our grower acres. Examples include but are not limited to our\u202fhybrid trial\u202fimplementation and various planter applied biological or starter fertilizer trials<\/li>\n<li>Willing to work with others on a team and independently<\/li>\n<li>Effectively communicate with growers, agronomists, and other full-time employees<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"section page-centered\">\n<div>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Qualifications and Educational Requirements:<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"posting-requirements plain-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Agriculture or Science degree track preferred<\/li>\n<li>Willingness and ability to work under on-farm and in-field conditions<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of current farming practices is of benefit<\/li>\n<li>Must be task\/project driven and able to work independently<\/li>\n<li>Must exhibit a growth mindset and a desire for continuous learning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"section page-centered\">\n<div>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Additional Job Information:<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"posting-requirements plain-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Positions are available throughout Indiana and Illinois. Housing options can be discussed for those that are willing to relocate. In general, interns will be expected to work 40 hours\/week.\u00a0 At times, hours more than 40 may be required and will be approved in advance by the supervisor.
