{"id":638,"date":"2025-08-28T17:00:16","date_gmt":"2025-08-28T17:00:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/myfieldatlas.com\/jobs\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=638"},"modified":"2026-04-13T14:47:28","modified_gmt":"2026-04-13T14:47:28","slug":"agronomy-operations-specialist-multiple-locations","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/myfieldatlas.com\/jobs\/job\/agronomy-operations-specialist-multiple-locations\/","title":{"rendered":"Agronomy Operations Specialist"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div>\n<p><b>Position Overview<\/b>: This role will assist in managing the day-today operations of the facility according to divisional objectives, to provide patrons with prompt, courteous and effective service while maintaining the efficiency necessary to achieve a maximum margin of profit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><b>Duties and Responsibilities<\/b>:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Include but are not limited to<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in managing the workforce through responsible training and clear job assignment and explanation<\/li>\n<li>Build relationships with the customer base and key suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Assist in establishing and implementing short-term goals that are consistent with long range plans for growth in operation, including facility, equipment, and personnel<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with manager and utilize additional resources (other branch managers, credit, marketing, human resources, etc.) to maximize profitability<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a safe working environment<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that department facilities and equipment meet all federal, state, and OSHA regulations<\/li>\n<li>Help maintain inventories to ensure service with minimum delivery delays, while maintaining inventory turn goals<\/li>\n<li>Assist with handling tasks for assigned accounts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><b>Skills and Qualifications<\/b>:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Must understand basic business principals of inventory management and personnel supervision<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated strong leadership and organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Possess a CDL with Hazmat endorsement and category 1A applicators license, or ability to obtain<\/li>\n<li>Excellent customer relations and service skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience leading safety and business improvement strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Detail oriented with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.<\/li>\n<li>Must be a team player and enjoy the effort necessary to contribute to a successful operation and company.<\/li>\n<li>Ability and desire to solve problems in the fields of our customers.<\/li>\n<li>Possess a relative knowledge of crop diagnostics, crop protection, seed and fertility.<\/li>\n<li>Farming experience helpful.<\/li>\n<li>Computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><b>Education and Experience:<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license;
