The Account Manager will have account ownership\u00a0of up to 500\u00a0core\u00a0customers and prospects in a specified geographic territory. Sales and origination efforts for their territory will be\u00a0done\u00a0both outside and inside of the office.<br \/>\n<strong>What\u00a0You\u2019ll\u00a0Do:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for growing and\u00a0maintaining\u00a0relationships with\u00a0transactional and traditional\u00a0producer accounts<\/li>\n<li>Earn the right to buy grain from producers in your territory. Volume expectation of\u00a05-12M bushels<\/li>\n<li>Develop a working knowledge of the customer\u2019s operation as it relates to grain marketing and\u00a0logistics. This may include how local markets might\u00a0provide\u00a0selling opportunities, and how tailored risk management solutions might meet specific marketing goals for the producer<\/li>\n<li>Identify\u00a0cross-selling opportunities within ADM\u2019s portfolio to\u00a0benefit\u00a0the producer<\/li>\n<li>Execute and support regional Regen Ag programs which may include data management and technology adoption<\/li>\n<li>Develop market opinion to help inform producer of market opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Network to\u00a0attain\u00a0positive, collaborative relationships with internal colleagues across divisions\u00a0including climate smart and fertilizer teams<\/li>\n<li>Engage with accounting and administrative staff to ensure\u00a0timely\u00a0and\u00a0accurate\u00a0accounting and contract management<\/li>\n<li>Communicate\u00a0effectively\u00a0competitive advantages and vulnerabilities to further the development and success of ADM to key internal stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Learn and support local and regional business objectives<\/li>\n<li>Operate as a Peer Leader to reach overall regional producer origination objectives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"answer ng-scope jobdescriptionInJobDetails\"><strong>Who\u00a0We\u2019re\u00a0Looking For:<br \/>\nPreferred\u202f\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1\u00a0to\u00a010\u00a0years\u2019 experience<\/li>\n<li>Ability to evaluate and manage risk with producer accounts<\/li>\n<li>Understand how to lead and conduct professional sales\/origination calls with customers and prospects<\/li>\n<li>Self-starter who will communicate opportunities for the business to improve internally and externally<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative mentality that\u00a0provides\u00a0insight and supports\u00a0strategic goals<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to territory planning and efficient execution<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving\u00a0skills\u00a0and a solution focused mindset are necessary to adapt to a rapidly changing environment<\/li>\n<li>Dedication to\u00a0utilize\u00a0technology applications that are critical to sales and origination activities<\/li>\n<li>Early adopter of\u00a0new technology\/programs and ability to lead and influence other target users<\/li>\n<li>Basic understanding of grain markets, grain contracting alternatives, production\u00a0agriculture\u00a0and the application of those to the\u202fproducer<\/li>\n<li>Eager to learn<\/li>\n<li>Actively pursuing a bachelor\u2019s degree in business or agriculture<\/li>\n<li>Ability to function effectively, both independently and with a team<\/li>\n<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to collaborate within various levels of an organization<\/li>\n<li>Expert organizational and time-management skills<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency\u00a0in using the Microsoft Office suite including Outlook and Teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Excited about this role but don\u2019t think you meet every requirement listed?
