Interns will have exposure to many career paths\u00a0and diverse subject matter experts as many projects have site-wide impact.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><b>Your Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Understand the manufacturing environment and how to collaborate with different stakeholders to solve problems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Work within cross-functional teams to implement process or lab improvements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Learn about fermentation, product recovery, product finishing, or packaging<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Data visualization tool creation\/usage and documentation updates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Education<\/b>:\u00a0Currently enrolled in\u00a0Chemistry,\u00a0Biochemistry,\u00a0Chemical\u00a0Engineering,\u00a0Mechanical\u00a0Engineering,\u00a0Biomedical\u00a0Engineering, or\u00a0a\u00a0similar major.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Top\u00a0Skills<\/b>:\u00a0Experience in Microsoft Suites and a willingness to learn<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Have an interest in using data to solve problems, improving processes, or working in\u00a0manufacturing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong communication\u00a0and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong organizational and time management skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be able to work exceptionally well independently and with minimal supervision<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Additional Information:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Travel:\u00a010% &#8211; to corporate facility in Indianapolis, IN for opening\/closing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Location:\u00a0Clinton Manufacturing Plant, Clinton, IN<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Elanco\u2019s\u00a0Internship Program<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Our internship program is designed to give students meaningful, hands-on experience as they kickstart their careers.
