Together, we\u2019re improving health and improving lives.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Labcorp is seeking a\u00a0<b>Veterinary<\/b>\u00a0<b>Technician<\/b>\u00a0to join our team in Greenfield, IN!<\/p>\n<p aria-hidden=\"true\">\n<p><b>Work Schedule<\/b>: Monday-Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm EST overtime and some weekends required.<\/p>\n<p aria-hidden=\"true\">\n<p><b>Job Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Veterinary Technician will support the Veterinarian by performing radiographs, collecting blood and fecal samples, routine animal care procedures such as dog dentals, physical exams, monitoring animal health and other veterinary laboratory procedures as well as surgical requirements (non-surgery suite) including but not limited to the following duties and responsibilities in compliance with appropriate SOP, Protocol, and Regulatory Agency guidelines:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure animal care complies with regulatory guidelines and ethical standards.<\/li>\n<li>Perform animal husbandry duties as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Report and assist in resolving animal care concerns.<\/li>\n<li>Interpret and follow basic study protocols.<\/li>\n<li>Apply good research practices (GxP) principles.<\/li>\n<li>Review documentation and understand QA audit requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain client confidentiality.<\/li>\n<li>Utilize computer software for study activities.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct study procedures per protocol, SOPs, and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Learn and perform medicant administration, physical exams, dosing, sample collection, and restraint techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Learn and assist with euthanasia methods, surgical prep, anesthesia, and surgical procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Manage time and resources effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Support other departments with study-related tasks (e.g., restraint, blood collection).<\/li>\n<li>Gain knowledge of ACUA and IACUC activities.<\/li>\n<li>Build positive relationships with veterinary staff and other teams.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in process improvement projects as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p aria-hidden=\"true\">\n<p><b>Minimum Requirements<\/b>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in a Life Sciences field (e.g., Biology, Wildlife, Pre-veterinary, Zoology, Genetics, Environmental Biology, Animal Science, or related discipline),\u00a0<b>OR<\/b>\u00a0an Associate degree in Laboratory Animal Technology or Veterinary Technology,\u00a0<b>OR<\/b>\u00a0an equivalent combination of relevant education and 6 months or more of hands-on experience in Life Sciences (such as biology, chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, or animal science) that provides the knowledge and skills required for the role.<\/li>\n<li>6 months or more experience in a veterinary practice or clinic environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p aria-hidden=\"true\">\n<p><b>Preferred Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CVT &#8211; Certified Veterinary Technician.<\/li>\n<li>AALAS certification at the Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician level.<\/li>\n<li>6 months or more experience in a vivarium setting with familiarity in animal welfare standards (IACUC, AAALAC, or similar guidelines).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p aria-hidden=\"true\">\n<p><b>Additional Job Standards:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Commitment to animal welfare, safety, and ethical care standards.<\/li>\n<li>Reliable adherence to protocols, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility to work overtime as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional customer service.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently or in a team environment.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working under minimal supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to learn and adapt, including new equipment, procedures, or compliance requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p aria-hidden=\"true\">\n<p><b>Pay Range: $22\/hr.-$25\/hr.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>All job offers will be\u00a0based on a candidate\u2019s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable\u00a0degrees\/certifications,\u00a0as well as internal equity and market data.<\/p>\n<p aria-hidden=\"true\">\n<p><b>Benefits:<\/b>\u00a0Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD\/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.\u00a0Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.\u00a0For more detailed information, please\u202f<a href=\"https:\/\/careers.labcorp.com\/global\/en\/us-rewards-and-wellness\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Labcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Labcorp strives for inclusion and belonging in the workforce and does not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind.
