Interns will have exposure to many career paths\u00a0and diverse subject matter experts as many projects have\u00a0network-wide impact.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><b>Your Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Understand the Animal Health Manufacturing process, document using GMP guidelines, and understand the importance of the Quality Unit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Work within cross-functional teams to implement process or Quality Control lab improvements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Learn about\u00a0fermentation, product recovery, product finishing, or\u00a0quality control<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Study design improvement processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><b>What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Education<\/b>:\u00a0Currently enrolled in a\u00a0Biology\u00a0(Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology or other\u00a0related)\u00a0or\u00a0Chemistry, or\u00a0Chemical\u00a0Engineering major<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Top\u00a0Skills<\/b>:\u00a0Experience in Microsoft Suites and a willingness to learn.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><b>What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong communication\u00a0and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong organizational and time management skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be able to work exceptionally well independently and with minimal supervision<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous\u00a0laboratory experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><b>Additional Information:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Travel:\u00a00%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Location: Elanco Technology Center, Indianapolis, IN<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><b>Elanco\u2019s\u00a0Internship Program<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Our internship program is designed to give students meaningful, hands-on experience as they kickstart their careers.
