\nThe 16 Tech Innovation District is a growing destination for innovation and entrepreneurship. Connected to neighborhoods throughout downtown Indianapolis and intentionally resourced with facilities and programs to foster innovation, 16 Tech is home to 300+ entities employing more than 1,200 people. 16 Tech is projected to grow to more than 2.2M square feet of space and 3,000+ jobs. POSITION OVERVIEW<\/strong>
\nThe 16 Tech Marketing Intern will play an active and vital role on 16 Tech Community
\nCorporation\u2019s marketing team, helping execute the District\u2019s strategic brand and vision through content generation and graphic design distributed across a variety of platforms (social media, website, email marketing, etc.).<\/p>\n

The marketing intern will:
\n\u2022 Brainstorm and support the creation of social media content for 16 Tech
\n\u2022 Assist with content creation for the Indy Winter Farmers Market that runs on Saturdays
\nfrom November \u2013 April
\n\u2022 Manage 16 Tech online event calendars, maintaining accurate data for public events,
\nclasses, programs, and trainings
\n\u2022 Submit events\/programs to key local organizations (i.e., IndyToday, Downtown Indy Inc.,
\netc.)<\/p>\n

\u2022 Support visual assets and marketing materials using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop,
\nIllustrator, InDesign, or similar)
\n\u2022 Assist with the creation of Eventbrite pages for various district events
\n\u2022 Help support onsite events as needed
\n\u2022 Assist with various administrative duties<\/p>\n

Applications must include a portfolio of work (content creation, design, etc.).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

An ideal candidate will demonstrate interest in marketing and content creation. The candidate will be passionate about creative ideas and social media marketing. The candidate will be a self-starter who desires to learn and grow with every project.<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
\n\u2022 College junior\/ senior or equivalent work experience preferred
\n\u2022 Prior internship preferred
\n\u2022 Photography\/videography or prior social media management is a plus
\n\u2022 Individual with an interest or background in marketing\/content creation preferred, but
\nnot a requirement
\n\u2022 Knowledge of social media platforms
\n\u2022 Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus
\n\u2022 Written and verbal communication skills
\n\u2022 High attention to detail and execution
\n\u2022 Maturity to work as part of a small, entrepreneurial team
\n\u2022 Self-driven and goal-oriented, able to work independently and organize own tasks,
\nprojects, and calendar
\n\u2022 Self-reflective and willing to learn from mistakes and by asking questions<\/p>\n

DETAILS
\n\u2022 Hours: 15-20 hours per week
\n\u2022 Compensation: $18\/hour
\n\u2022 Employment timeframe: August \u2013 December 2026
