The role includes customer relationship development, personnel growth, facility and equipment optimization, financial management and short- and long-term planning for the location<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><b>Duties and Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>\u00a0Include but are not limited to<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Meet location goals<\/li>\n<li>Develop location personnel capabilities including assisting in hiring, coaching, training, performance management and assigning key tasks<\/li>\n<li>Support the Region manager in driving sales growth including assigning accounts to salespeople, calling on some accounts and working with Sales Specialists on others, monitoring customer satisfaction through ongoing dialogue and\u00a0identifying\u00a0potential prospects<\/li>\n<li>Supervise mixing, loading and dispatch<\/li>\n<li>Manage facility inventory including forecasting product needs,\u00a0anticipating\u00a0inventory needs and\u00a0purchasing\u00a0product through approved suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Manage facility finances including sales and expense budgeting and management, billing, accounts receivables and payables and managing prepays<\/li>\n<li>Manage facility assets including routine maintenance, facility and equipment replacement plans and driver equipment inspections<\/li>\n<li>Make Crop Protection and fertility recommends including\u00a0DataOnTouch\u00a0farm and field plans,\u00a0mapping\u00a0and recordkeeping<\/li>\n<li>Manage location recordkeeping,\u00a0including internal financial and customer production\u00a0and\u00a0financial records<\/li>\n<li>Manage location risk including compliance with regulations, safety and emergency response training and ongoing site inspections<\/li>\n<li>Develop\u00a0short- and long-term\u00a0plans for the location<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><b>Skills and Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrate essential abilities including personnel management, communications, customer focus and decision making<\/li>\n<li>Basic\u00a0Agronomy knowledge and skills (insect, weed and disease identification, fertility)<\/li>\n<li>Financial knowledge including reading and understanding financial statements<\/li>\n<li>Must have valid\u00a0driver\u2019s\u00a0license and be able to obtain and\u00a0maintain\u00a0all acceptable certifications,\u00a0licenses\u00a0and permits<\/li>\n<li>Have a 1A and Category 14 license<\/li>\n<li>Ability and willingness to work long hours and on-call as business conditions warrant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><b>Education and Experience:<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelors\u00a0or Associates\u00a0degree in agriculture or business or five years or more of related work experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"author":11,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_jet_sm_ready_style":"","_jet_sm_style":"","_jet_sm_controls_values":"","_jet_sm_fonts_collection":"","_jet_sm_fonts_links":"","_promoted":"","_company_name":"Keystone Cooperative","_company_website":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[27],"job-types":[2],"job_listing_tag":[9],"class_list":{"0":"post-1617","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-publish","4":"hentry","5":"job_listing_category-operations","6":"job_listing_type-full-time","7":"job_listing_tag-early-career","9":"job-type-full-time"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.7 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Operations Manager - Field Atlas Job Board<\/title>\n<meta name=\"robots\" content=\"index, follow, max-snippet:-1, max-image-preview:large, max-video-preview:-1\" \/>\n<link rel=\"canonical\" href=\"https:\/\/myfieldatlas.com\/jobs\/job\/operations-manager\/\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:locale\" content=\"en_US\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:type\" content=\"article\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:title\" content=\"Operations Manager - Field Atlas Job Board\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:description\" content=\"Position Overview: This position is responsible for the operations and profitability of the location.
