Marking Content Specialist (Contractor)<\/strong>
\nPosition Description Summary<\/strong>
\nThe Content Specialist (Contractor) supports the creation, execution, and optimization of marketing content
\nacross multiple channels. This role plays a critical part in bringing campaigns and brand initiatives to life through high\u2011quality, accurate, and engaging content designed for animal owners across the diverse species our brands serve, from livestock and equine to companion animals, backyard poultry, and wildlife.<\/p>\n

Working within the Marketing Communications team, this role partners cross-functionally with brand, digital and performance to deliver content that supports marketing objectives, enhances the consumer experience, and ensures consistency across all touchpoints. The role also contributes to how content is structured, managed, and optimized to increase visibility and effectiveness across and evolving digital landscape.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Create, format, and publish engaging content across web, email, and digital marketing channels
\n\u2022 Produce and adapt content such as blog posts, landing pages, email content, and educational materials
\n\u2022 Resize, adapt, and create supporting visual assets (e.g., email graphics, social assets, web visuals) using tools like Canva or Adobe
\n\u2022 Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, messaging, and campaign objectives
\n\u2022 Perform quality assurance (QA) to ensure accuracy, functionality, and consistency of all content
\n\u2022 Identify and resolve content inconsistencies or gaps across channels, ensuring a cohesive consumer experience
\n\u2022 Optimize content for readability, usability, and search performance using best practices
\n\u2022 Partner with the team to identify opportunities for content to surface in AI-generated responses, summaries, and emerging digital experiences
\n\u2022 Support email marketing execution, including content creation and deployment in partnership with Marketing Operations team members
\n\u2022 Maintain and organize content within CMS, DAM, and project management tools
\n\u2022 Partner with Marketing Operations to improve content workflows, templates, and processes
\n\u2022 Monitor content performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement, visibility, and effectiveness
\n\u2022 Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop targeted, audience-specific content and support integrated campaign execution
\n\u2022 Support additional content-related initiatives and new content-focused workstreams as needed<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/strong>
\nRequired Qualifications<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
\n\u2022 2-5 years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing or marketing operations
\n\u2022 Experience creating and publishing content across digital channels
\n\u2022 Must be detail-oriented, innovative and creative
\n\u2022 Ability to manage multiple and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
\n\u2022 Strong collaboration and communication skills<\/p>\n

Preferred Qualifications<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and email marketing tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
\n\u2022 Familiarity with SEO, AEO\/GEO and digital content best practices
\n\u2022 Experience working within a multi-brand or cross-functional marketing environment
\n\u2022 Exposure to animal nutrition, agriculture, or pet-related industries
\n\u2022 Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, SEO platforms (e.g., SEMrush), or similar<\/p>\n
