    Responsibilities<\/u><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Receive soybeans and wheat delivered for seed.<\/li>\n
    • Assist in taking calls from soybean and wheat growers.<\/li>\n
    • Help set up inspections of soybeans and wheat seed field.<\/li>\n
    • Perform inspections of fields as needed.<\/li>\n
    • Establish and maintain relationships with new and current growers.<\/li>\n
    • Assist in all aspects of grower relations including contracts, acreage allocation, and field quality issues as they arise throughout the season.<\/li>\n
    • Assist in training and educating growers in the policies and procedures required in seed production to provide highest quality seed.<\/li>\n
    • Collaborate with various agencies to assure all standards are met for seed quality.<\/li>\n
    • Maintain current knowledge on planting and harvesting practices as well other environmental issues related to all phases of seed production such as disease, insects, weeds, etc.<\/li>\n
    • Support the Soybean and Wheat Grower Director or Production Location Manager in functions as needed.<\/li>\n
    • Perform other related duties as may be required by the Soybean and Wheat Grower Director or Production Location Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Job Requirements<\/u><\/p>\n

      1.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0Education and training:<\/p>\n

        \n
      • Bachelor of Science in an agricultural related field preferred.<\/li>\n
      • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.<\/li>\n
      • Ability to possess and maintain a valid driver\u2019s license and insurable driving record as determined by Beck\u2019s automobile insurance policy preferred.<\/li>\n
      • CDL or Chauffer license or equivalent may be required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        2.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0Technical knowledge:<\/p>\n

          \n
        • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n
        • Possess positive attitude.<\/li>\n
        • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, work as a team member, and proceed with objectives without supervision.<\/li>\n
        • Basic computer and current software skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              4. \u00a0 Travel and hours of work:<\/p>\n

              • Overnight travel may be required based on project needs at Beck\u2019s regional locations and may vary in duration of time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                5. \u00a0 Experience:<\/p>\n

                  \n
                • One to two (1-2) years\u2019 experience in field planting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  6. \u00a0 Physical Demands<\/p>\n

                    \n
                  • Ability to pass DOT physical examination and obtain Medical Examiner\u2019s Certificate may be required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
