Looking for a fulfilling and exciting internship this summer? Gain experience
\nas a paid summer staff member of the Entertainment & Events team while
\npromoting and preparing for Indiana\u2019s largest multi-day event \u2013 the 2026
\nINDIANA STATE FAIR!<\/p>\n

Duties include but are not limited to assisting with and implementing:<\/strong>
\n1. Fulfillment of entertainment contracts and operational needs throughout
\nthe Fairgrounds: Free Stage, Grandstand, Family Fun Park and other
\ngrounds entertainment attractions; Dance Stage; strolling acts; Pioneer
\nVillage; and some livestock education exhibits. May include the
\ncreation\/writing\/requesting of contracts.
\n2. Assist with the 2026 Indiana State Fair Queen\u2019s travel arrangements in
\nrelation to her summer appearances statewide: researching and booking
\novernight accommodations; coordinating directions and appearance
\ndetails with county Queen Pageant directors.
\n3. Assist with planning and implementation of other Fair events and
\ncompetitions, including Band Day, Cheerleading Competition, Baton
\nTwirling Contest, Youth Talent Contest, Indiana State Fair Parade, Car
\nShow, and County Queens Day.
\n4. Assist with event planning and coordination of additional Indiana State Fair
\nevents as needed.
\n5. Assist with general Accounting in relation to various entertainment and
\nevents: requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, check needs, etc.<\/p>\n

Interested Applicants Should Have:<\/strong>
\n1. Interest in Entertainment and Event Production
\n2. Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
\n3. Extreme attention to detail and organization
\n4.
