Description:<\/strong> Duties include but are not limited to assisting with and implementing:<\/strong> Interested Applicants Should Have:<\/strong> <\/p>\n Internships begin in early June. Interns are required to stay through the duration of
\nThe Competitive Exhibits & Events Intern should be looking towards a career in event
\nproduction and marketing. This internship will develop skills in organization, creative
\nthinking, planning, implementation, and building partnerships with industry leaders.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Run the Indiana State Fair Parade
\n\u2022 Indiana State Fair Wine & Spirits Competition
\n\u2022 Theme activations & implementation throughout the fairgrounds
\n\u2022 Run events such as Indiana State Fair Band Day, Cornhole Tournament,
\nCheerleading Competition, Baton Twirling Contest, Youth Talent Contest
\n\u2022 Agriculture and Horticulture Display including Canstruction + Giant Vegetable
\nCompetition
\n\u2022 Indiana Arts Building Exhibits
\n\u2022 Competitive Events Promotion and Entry
\n\u2022 Shoot and organize photos during the 2025 Indiana State Fair for the
\nEntertainment Department
\n\u2022 Event setup & teardown
\n\u2022 Assist with general Accounting in relation to various for the Entertainment
\nDepartment: requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, check needs, etc.
\n\u2022 Involved Overall support of the Marketing Department<\/p>\n
\n1. An interest in Event Production, Operations and Marketing
\n2. Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
\n3. Attention to detail and organization
\n4. Proficient in Microsoft Office
\n5. Team Player attitude \u2013 willing to assist in other areas and do whatever it takes to
\nget the job done!
\n6. Ability to work independently
\n7. Motivation, be a self-starter<\/p>\n
\nthe State Fair. Internships are 40 hours per week with extended hours one month
