Additional responsibilities may include supervising crop production or livestock care, as appropriate. Faculty members are also expected to advise students and contribute through service on University committees.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><u>QUALIFICATIONS<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have a strong personal Christian commitment and faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to serve others<\/li>\n<li>Must be committed to the mission of Huntington University as a comprehensive Christian College dedicated to educating students to impact our world for Christ<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with students, colleagues, and external agricultural organizations.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated understanding of Christian higher education, preferred<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communications skills<\/li>\n<li>A doctoral degree in an agricultural discipline is preferred; candidates with a master\u2019s degree and significant relevant professional experience will also be considered.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive experience in agriculture.<\/li>\n<li>Prior successful university-level teaching experience is preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><u>SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Teaching load of 24 hours per academic year.
