Come grow with us!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>This role is not a remote opportunity, it is on-site at our Manufacturing Plant in Indianapolis, Indiana.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Scope:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The CAD Designer will be responsible for developing, updating, and maintaining all company\u2019s CAD drawings. This role will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards of all drawings. \u00a0CAD Designer will support new capital projects and initiatives by designing new layouts and plans. This role will develop and maintain drawings\u2019 naming convention, archival folders, revisions, and the overall administrative tasks required for upkeeping an organized CAD drawing system.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities<\/u><\/strong><u>:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-pasted=\"true\">Prepares and update all plant\u2019s machine and Line layout drawings to reflect all up-to-date changes and modifications.<\/li>\n<li>Collaboration with a cross functional team to present ideas for the best use of space.<\/li>\n<li>Works with utilities to create drawings of the infrastructure of the plant.<\/li>\n<li>Assists the warehouse with racking and traffic flow layouts.<\/li>\n<li>Support capital projects team to review and ensure accuracy of all new drawings such as construction drawings, electrical drawings, P&amp;IDs, equipment layout, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Update existing drawings and double check measurements for accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Develops and maintains a system to store, access and revise drawings.<\/li>\n<li>Creates, modifies and ensures that drawings are compliant with the required standards.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with other departments and engineers.<\/li>\n<li>Report about the progress of the design development.<\/li>\n<li>Circulate the drawings to the design or construction team for their further review and upon review, integrate the received comments through issuance of reviewed drawings.<\/li>\n<li>All other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<div data-pasted=\"true\">\n<div data-pasted=\"true\">\n<ul data-pasted=\"true\">\n<li>Bachelor Degree in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD), Design or related technical degree.<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of three years experience in computer-aided design and drafting (CAD) with ability to work with 2D and 3D models.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work well in a team and on your own.<\/li>\n<li>knowledge of Industrial plants settings and their associated drawings such as electrical drawings, line layout, building layout, PIDs, warehouse racking layout, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills needed to interact with all areas of business.<\/li>\n<li>Good analytical &amp; technical skills are needed for all project development and support activities<\/li>\n<li>Multi-tasking skills are required to manage multiple requests and various project activities.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent problem solving and time management, and attention to detail skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Physical Demands:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be able to physically perform the functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to work seated using a computer and phone for long periods of time.<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to work extended hours, such as daily overtime and an occasional weekend<\/li>\n<li>Must possess visual acuity to document company records<\/li>\n<li>Continuous walking throughout plant and distribution center.<\/li>\n<li>Lifting up to 40 pounds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":11,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_jet_sm_ready_style":"","_jet_sm_style":"","_jet_sm_controls_values":"","_jet_sm_fonts_collection":"","_jet_sm_fonts_links":"","_promoted":"","_company_name":"Heartland Food Products Group","_company_website":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[12],"job-types":[2],"job_listing_tag":[9],"class_list":{"0":"post-1381","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-expired","4":"hentry","5":"job_listing_category-engineering","6":"job_listing_type-full-time","7":"job_listing_tag-early-career","9":"job-type-full-time"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>CAD Designer - Field Atlas Job Board<\/title>\n<meta name=\"robots\" content=\"index, follow, max-snippet:-1, max-image-preview:large, max-video-preview:-1\" \/>\n<link rel=\"canonical\" href=\"https:\/\/myfieldatlas.com\/jobs\/?post_type=job_listing&p=1381\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:locale\" content=\"en_US\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:type\" content=\"article\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:title\" content=\"CAD Designer - Field Atlas Job Board\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:description\" content=\"Heartland Food Products Group is a global leader in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry, producing low-calorie sweeteners, coffee, coffee creamers and liquid water enhancers.
