Overview

The Workday HRIS Specialist is an advanced-level role focused on the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Workday HRIS modules, specifically Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Absence. As a subject matter expert, this position collaborates with the HRIS team to enhance system functionality, support complex reporting and analytics, and drive Workday-related projects to align with organizational goals.

 

Must be authorized to work in the United States of America, now and in the future, without company sponsorship.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Workday modules, including Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Absence, ensuring efficient business processes.
  • Develop and maintain advanced Workday reports, including calculated fields, dashboards, and matrix reports to support data-driven decisions.
  • Lead or support Workday projects, including module implementations, system optimizations, and data conversions for organizational initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues related to Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Absence modules.
  • Collaborate with the HRIS team to align system functionality with business requirements.
  • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Test new Workday features, releases, and configuration changes to maintain system integrity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience configuring Workday HRIS, specifically in Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Absence modules, required.
  • Prior experience with Workday module implementations, preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without company sponsorship.
